DMZ Cash (20)

Chain Dynamic Operations for escalating Supply Drops

Status: Working · Checked 2026-10-31

Every Dynamic Operation pays DMZ Cash and XP and calls in a Supply Drop, and each completion in the same deployment is reported to upgrade the next drop — Common, then Uncommon, then Rare. The October 30, 2026 patch raised the Op's own cash payout and added two more payouts on top: Side Ops now pay 2,000 DMZ Cash, and a Mission Step payout gives 500 DMZ Cash per step completed.

  1. Deploy into Dynamic Operations instead of Free Roam.
  2. Clear Ops back to back rather than leaving after the first.
  3. Pick up Side Ops and mission steps along the way — they now pay out too.
  4. Loot every drop; the third is the one worth waiting for.

Payoff: 10,000–20,000 DMZ Cash per Dynamic Op (confirmed by the October 30, 2026 patch notes, up from 5,000-10,000), plus 2,000 per Side Op and 500 per mission step, on top of better Supply Drops the more you chain.

Risk: The Op's own Cash and XP reward is credited to your account the moment you complete it, so dying afterward doesn't take it back. Only loot you pick up along the way, including from the Supply Drop itself, still needs a successful exfil to keep.

Always extract Weapon Manuals and Recipes

Status: Unverified · Checked 2026-10-22

Manuals and printer recipes found in Hajin pay out on extraction on top of the unlock itself. They are the best value per inventory slot early on.

  1. Grab every Weapon Manual and Recipe you see.
  2. Put them in a Secure Slot if you have one free.
  3. Exfil — the payout and the unlock land at the FOB.

Payoff: 5,000 DMZ Cash each plus a permanent unlock (reported).

Silent Ledger: take the truck full of cash bags

Status: Working · Checked 2026-10-22

After looting the printing plates in the casino vault, an optional side op starts: 12 cash bags worth 1,500 each. Load them onto the truck parked by the vault, drive to the exfil and throw them into the chopper.

  1. Breach the vault and take the printing plates.
  2. Load the bags onto the truck next to the vault.
  3. Drive to the exfil and throw each bag into the chopper before boarding.

Payoff: Up to 18,000 extra DMZ Cash on top of the mission reward.

Risk: Bring plenty of ammo — the drill phase is a long defend.

Walk in for free, and never spend your rescue money

Status: Working · Checked 2026-10-22

Ground infil is free; vehicles cost 5,000 (Polaris Dagor), 25,000 (LTV), 50,000 (Helicopter) and 100,000 (Cargo Plane). Recovering an MIA Operator costs DMZ Cash that grows with their Trait Points, so keep one rescue in the Bank at all times.

  1. Infil on foot unless the route really needs a vehicle.
  2. Before buying anything, check what a rescue of your best Operator would cost.
  3. Spend only what is above that number.

Payoff: A failed run never forces you to dismiss a high-trait Operator.

Check a Police Station's top floor for its Armory Key

Status: Working · Checked 2026-10-26

Each of Hajin's five Police Stations hides its best loot behind a locked Armory. The key that opens it tends to spawn in a small, single-desk room on the station's top floor.

  1. Head to one of the five Police Stations: Revolution Dam, Pyonghwa Village, Cheongun Village, NuriGO Mall, or Wolves Stadium.
  2. Clear the top floor and check the desk in its single-desk room for the Armory Key.
  3. No key on the desk usually means another squad already grabbed it — try a different station instead of waiting around.

Payoff: Access to a Police Station's best-tier loot.

Risk: Police Stations are popular early objectives, so expect competition for the key.

Safes pop open almost instantly now — no drill, no defending

Status: Working · Checked 2026-10-26

Unlike the original DMZ, Safes in Hajin don't need a drill or a timed defense against other squads. Find one and it opens in moments.

  1. Prioritize locked buildings that need a Rare (purple) key to enter — they often hide a Safe.
  2. Check secure buildings like banks and offices.
  3. Higher-Threat areas tend to hold better Safes, but bring the gear to survive the tougher AI and squads there.

Payoff: Fast access to powerful gear without the old drill-and-defend window.

Risk: Higher-Threat zones raise the danger sharply even though the Safe itself opens fast.

Don't let the Bank sit at its cap

Status: Unverified · Checked 2026-10-22

The Bank is shared by all your Operators and has a maximum (500,000 in pre-launch footage). Income above the cap is lost, so upgrade the Bank or spend before you hit it.

  1. Watch your balance after big runs.
  2. Buy the Bank Upgrade at the 3D Printer before you approach the cap.

Payoff: No wasted payouts.

Hanex Bank's two vaults need their own key-and-note puzzle, not the usual code

Status: Unverified · Checked 2026-10-31

The Grid's Hanex Bank tower has two vault rooms near the roof (floor 17), but they don't use the car-battery-and-guessed-digit code other bank vaults do. Each needs its own key and note from a different building entirely.

  1. Climb the pipe at the Min Sok Art School to the floor just below the roof and search the desks (also check the rooftop and toolboxes) for the Design Center's Director's key.
  2. Take it to the Hanwoori Design Complex, ride the elevator to the top floor, and unlock the Design Center's Director's office. A desk note gives the first vault's six-digit code.
  3. At the Hotel Lucera, go to room 703 on the top floor and find the second key, on the bed or the kitchen table.
  4. Take that key to the Netshin Tech Complex's 14th floor, follow the green-lit hallway down to the security office, and read the note for the second vault's six-digit code.
  5. At the Hanex Bank tower, take the elevator to the roof then go down to floor 17, and enter each code on its matching vault door.
  6. Optional: each vault also holds a numbered note (1 of 2 and 2 of 2). Combine their partial code and enter it on the helipad atop the DBN Headquarters tower for a supply drop.

Payoff: Two extra vaults' worth of safes and cash on top of the bank floor's usual loot.

Risk: The optional DBN Headquarters supply drop brings Deathstalker and possibly Lieutenant Roze to guard it; the source calls the loot not worth that fight. Credited by the source to a player named Zohnex for first solving the puzzle.

Rebuild a looted weapon instead of buying new at Gunsmith

Status: Unverified · Checked 2026-10-31

A new Gunsmith build charges a rising service fee for every attachment slot, so a 5- or 6-attachment build can run well past 100,000 DMZ Cash. Reworking a weapon already looted with that many slots only charges for the attachments themselves, since the slots are already unlocked.

  1. At Gunsmith, pick a looted weapon with as many attachment slots as you can afford to use, rather than buying a new one from scratch.
  2. Swap out attachments you don't want for the ones you do; changing an existing slot's attachment costs only the attachment's own price, with no per-slot service charge.
  3. Prioritize a suppressor (keeps bot kills quiet without alerting nearby squads) and the largest magazine your weapon's reload speed can tolerate.

Payoff: A build with four or more attachments for roughly the price of the attachments alone, instead of also paying a service charge per slot.

Spend a Door Breacher Charge on a Lieutenant's room, not a random locked door

Status: Unverified · Checked 2026-11-01

A Door Breacher Charge (or the recipe for one) is easy to waste on a door that turns out to be an empty storage room. Two Lieutenant rooms are reported to hold at least one legendary weapon every time: Iskra's room at Cheonwang Peak Array and Rose's high-rise apartment in the Grid's tech complex.

  1. At Cheonwang Peak Array, find the long building with the safe floor, head to the back room on that floor, and breach the locked door — Iskra's room always has a legendary Widowmaker shotgun plus a weapons locker and crafting valuables.
  2. If Iskra is up and you can kill her first, do it: she sometimes drops her own Lieutenant key, which opens the same room for free and saves the charge.
  3. In the Grid's tech complex, take the stairwell up to Rose's high-rise apartment (several floors up) and breach it for a legendary Kraken, which three-shots a Deathstalker.
  4. Any other Lieutenant's room can also be opened this way without a charge if you loot their key off the body after a kill.

Payoff: A guaranteed legendary weapon per breach, instead of gambling the charge on an unmarked locked door.

Risk: Unverified by press; reported independently by two creators who both single out these same two rooms. Deadbolted doors that look locked but aren't will still eat a charge for nothing, so check before you breach.

At least five Hanex Bank branches share the same card-and-code vault

Status: Unverified · Checked 2026-11-01

The Hanex Bank branch vault documented at Cheongun Village (keycard, car battery, three-digit note, guess the last digit) isn't unique to that building. The same chain reports branches scattered around Hajin: the casino district, a corner of The Grid, the Wharf, an area south of The Grid, and near the stadium.

  1. Treat any building marked as a Hanex Bank branch the same way: find the vault keycard on a desk or the floor, power the reader with a Car Battery from the basement, then find the code note (it can be upstairs, in the basement, or on the roof) and guess the last digit.
  2. Each branch's vault room holds loose cash and two guaranteed safes on top of the branch's normal floor loot.

Payoff: Two guaranteed safes per branch, and five-plus branches to rotate through instead of waiting on one that's already been cleared.

Risk: Exact locations beyond Cheongun Village aren't pinned to our map yet; this is one creator's account of the pattern, not an official list.

Deadtown's unmarked apartment row is a crafting-materials pantry

Status: Unverified · Checked 2026-11-01

A row of six apartment buildings in Deadtown, near the black market, carries no name or color on the map, so reported traffic there is low. Loose Power Regulators, Explosive Compounds, Stock Rods and CPUs turn up throughout, plus the occasional weapons locker.

  1. Head to Deadtown and loot the row of six apartment buildings rather than just the black market shop.
  2. Work the shelves, desks and computers in each unit for loose crafting materials.
  3. Grab any weapons locker you find along the way as a bonus.

Payoff: A steady restock of common printer materials with little competition for it.

The toxic pool northwest of Chang-san Air Base is safe to loot

Status: Unverified · Checked 2026-11-01

A radioactive-looking pool at the edge of the map northwest of Chang-san Air Base is reported safe to swim, and sees few visitors since it's off the main path. It holds a yellow Irradiated Container locker and several looted bodies that often carry recipes.

  1. From Chang-san Air Base, head northwest to the pool.
  2. Swim the edges and loot the bodies and the yellow locker.

Payoff: A low-competition chance at an Irradiated Container and recipes.

A reactor-to-air base safe loop for easy six figures

Status: Unverified · Checked 2026-11-01

A reported loop that chains locations already on this page: spawn at the Haneul Nuclear Reactor compound, hit the Cheonwang Peak Array's safes, swing by Rice Mill for crafting materials, then finish at Chang-san Air Base's clinic and chemical lockers before extracting nearby. The creator reports six figures of DMZ Cash per sitting from safes and valuables alone, without relying on any one rare drop.

  1. Spawn at the Haneul Nuclear Reactor compound and grab a vehicle immediately.
  2. Drive to Cheonwang Peak Array and clear its guaranteed safes.
  3. Detour through Rice Mill for loose blue and purple crafting materials.
  4. Finish at Chang-san Air Base: hit the clinic's yellow lockers and the chemical storage room, then extract at the nearest open exfil.
  5. Keep every weapon manual, gold bar and radiated container you find along the way in a Secure Slot; skip clearing compounds fully since the DMZ Cash for that is small.

Payoff: A consistent high five-to-low six-figure DMZ Cash run from safes and valuables, before counting any rare drop.

Risk: Single-creator report; exact safe spawns inside each stop aren't independently confirmed here.

The Joker SMG kills a Tank Commander in about 5-6 hits

Status: Unverified · Checked 2026-11-03

Reported: once you've unlocked the Joker SMG's weapon manual, it reportedly drops a hostile Tank Commander (the roaming armored vehicle boss, not the drivable tank at Chang-san) in around 5 to 6 hits, versus roughly 30 RPG rockets or a rare Warhead one-shot. That makes repeat Tank Commander kills, for Nanostructured Alloy and other legendary crafting materials, far cheaper to run back to back. A separate creator report corroborates two of the alternate one-shot methods: a Bomb Glider lethal as a backup to the RPG, and confirms the Impact Warhead one-shot doesn't need a direct hit, landing within a few meters is reportedly enough.

  1. Unlock the Joker SMG's weapon manual first; the gun itself can also be looted, but the manual lets you print or buy it instead of relying on a find.
  2. Deploy and drive between the named sites (Rice Mill, the casino, and others) watching for a Tank Commander spawn — also reported to turn up near NuriGO Mall/The Grid, the Songdo Wharf parking lot, Cheongun Village, and the Farm.
  3. Land 5 to 6 hits with the Joker instead of burning rockets, or throw a Bomb Glider or near-miss Impact Warhead if you don't have the Joker yet.
  4. Loot the drop, then keep driving: a Tank Commander can spawn more than once per match.

Payoff: Nanostructured Alloy, Military Composites and other legendary crafting materials for a fraction of the ammo cost of an RPG farm.

Risk: The Joker-SMG-kills-it-in-5-to-6-hits claim is still single-creator; the Joker's weapon manual itself isn't cheap to craft (reported around $45,000). Keep the Joker in a Secure Slot once crafted so a bad fight doesn't cost you the gun as well as the materials.

The 14th Political Prison hides two small decryption puzzles for crafting materials

Status: Unverified · Checked 2026-11-02

Reported: the 14th Political Prison (north-west of Compound Foxtrot) has a south-wing and an east-wing decryption puzzle, each unlocking a reward room, on top of loose Nylon Laminate Boards, Nylon Cloth and Hard Synthetic Material scattered on shelves and desks throughout the building.

  1. South wing: search the ground-floor and second-floor cells for two code-note halves (one per floor), then enter the combined code in the courtyard to open a reward room with a pick of several loot containers. A separate cell nearby holds a key to the south armory.
  2. East wing: collect IW Mother Fragments from the area patrolled by robot dogs — four is enough if you don't need extra materials from opening every cell, twelve opens them all — then return to the courtyard for an orange key to the east armory.
  3. Loot the loose crafting materials on shelves and desks as you go; they aren't inside containers.

Payoff: A guaranteed handful of Nylon Laminate Boards plus two armories' worth of weapon lockers.

Risk: The prison's Warden and an armored guard patrol the halls; bring a melee weapon or stun baton as well as breaching tools, since the fight indoors can burn through throwables fast. Single-creator report, no map coordinates confirmed yet. A November 1 livestream (IceManIsaac) separately reported this key/puzzle layout may have changed since — a previously working key spot was gone, with chat suggesting an alternate underwater casino route to a Warden encounter instead. That report is chat-only and unconfirmed, so recheck this route in-game before relying on it.

Finish Operation Fallen Ember for a guaranteed elite weapons locker

Status: Unverified · Checked 2026-11-02

Reported: completing Operation Fallen Ember, the top of the Story Mission chain at the Haneul Nuclear Reactor, drops a Reactor DRC locker key. Using it opens an elite weapons locker hidden underwater with good odds at a strong weapon, an ultra-rare item, a weapon manual, and a recipe.

  1. Complete Operation Fallen Ember at the Haneul Nuclear Reactor to receive a Reactor DRC locker key.
  2. Head to Reactor 2 and swim into the water underneath it to find the hidden locker room.
  3. Use the key to open the elite weapons locker.
  4. Squadmates who haven't finished the mission yet can rerun it with you to earn their own key, letting the squad repeat the locker run after run.

Payoff: A chance at a strong weapon plus an ultra-rare item, a weapon manual, and a recipe from a single locker.

Risk: Single-creator report; the exact underwater room isn't pinned to our map yet.

Small silo structures in the North Korean territory hide manuals and recipes

Status: Unverified · Checked 2026-11-02

Scattered circular silo structures across Hajin's former North Korean territory can be entered and looted. Reported: they turn up weapon manuals and recipes often enough to be worth a detour, though contents are random.

  1. Look for small, circular silo structures on the map in the North Korean territory.
  2. Enter and clear the silo of any guards.
  3. Loot the interior for a chance at a weapon manual, a printer recipe, or other gear.

Payoff: A low-competition chance at manuals and recipes away from the busier compounds.

Risk: Single-creator report; contents are RNG and not every silo pays off.

Breach Mirae Hospital's 7th-floor doctor's room for a guaranteed legendary

Status: Unverified · Checked 2026-11-03

Reported: a locked door on Mirae General Hospital's 7th floor, labeled a doctor's room, reportedly holds a guaranteed legendary weapon worth around $10,600 when sold, with a neighboring chemical-lab room adding detonators and other crafting valuables.

  1. Deploy toward Mirae General Hospital and work your way up to the 7th floor.
  2. Breach the locked doctor's room door with a Door Breacher Charge for the guaranteed legendary weapon.
  3. Breach the adjacent chemical lab room as well for detonators and other crafting materials.

Payoff: A guaranteed legendary weapon plus a second room of crafting materials, for one or two Door Breacher Charges.

Risk: Single-creator report; needs a Door Breacher Charge, printed or looted as a key, so it isn't a free run.

A reusable vault key reportedly unlocks the Casino Counting Room

Status: Unverified · Checked 2026-11-03

Reported: finishing Operation Silent Ledger reportedly banks a reusable vault key for the Heavenly Luck Casino's Counting Room in Cheongun Village, a double-locked loot room with weapon lockers, safes, and a smaller bonus vault.

  1. Complete Operation Silent Ledger, which reportedly banks the reusable vault key.
  2. Enter the Heavenly Luck Casino in Cheongun Village through its front doors.
  3. Go right and down the hallway to the double doors leading to the Counting Room.
  4. Unlock or breach the Counting Room for its weapon lockers and safes, plus the smaller adjoining vault.

Payoff: Two loot rooms of weapon lockers, safes and manual or recipe odds, reusable on later runs once the key is banked.

Risk: Single-creator report; exactly what makes the key stay reusable isn't independently confirmed yet.

Progression (3)

Do your heavy looting before DMZ Level 20

Status: Unverified · Checked 2026-10-22

Reported: hostile AI squads only become a regular presence once your DMZ Player Level reaches 20. The levels before that are the calmest time to farm resources and finish early Orders.

  1. Use the early levels for resource runs and Orders.
  2. Print backpacks and armor before you cross Level 20.

Payoff: A stocked stash before Hajin gets harder.

Try to unlock the Anvil launcher manual before Season 1's new map

Status: Unverified · Checked 2026-11-01

Reported: one creator recommends grinding out the Anvil launcher's weapon manual before Season 1 arrives on November 6, 2026, drawing a comparison to the original DMZ beta's Building 21, where the RGL grenade launcher was dominant in tight indoor fights. Season 1's new map is expected to bring more close-quarters PvP.

  1. Look for the Anvil in weapon lockers to use it without the manual.
  2. Work toward unlocking its weapon manual so you can print or buy it on demand once Season 1 lands.

Payoff: A strong close-quarters option ready to go when Season 1's new map goes live.

Risk: Single-creator prediction based on a beta comparison, not a confirmed balance read on the new map.

Farm Longshot camo kills fast on the Iron Citadel spawn

Status: Unverified · Checked 2026-11-02

Reported: a repeatable route for weapons that need Longshot kills. Deploying via Operation Iron Citadel drops you into a spawn with long, open sightlines and, for now, a calmer lobby, letting a long-range build rack up Longshots quickly.

  1. Deploy via Operation Iron Citadel for its spawn and current lighter Story Mission matchmaking.
  2. Build the weapon with a suppressor, the largest compatible magazine, and a long-range optic, prioritizing range and velocity over recoil control.
  3. Print a couple of Ammo Boxes beforehand so you don't run dry mid-grind.
  4. Hold distance and keep firing on anything that enters Longshot range for the rest of the deployment.

Payoff: One creator reports roughly 75 Longshot kills in about 20 minutes using this route.

Risk: Leans on the current lighter Story Mission matchmaking, which is unofficial and can change without notice (see the Story Mission lobby entry above).

Trait builds (6)

Starter Trait picks: which Major Traits to unlock first

Status: Unverified · Checked 2026-10-29

Each tree has six fixed Major Traits and 16 Minor Traits (the Minors are randomized), and every pick locks out the rest of its branch, so there is no fixed 18-point build. Open Scout first for loot and cash, then add one survival Major from Warfighter or Survivalist.

  1. Scout first: Container Looter (3-point tier) for an extra item from containers; Overwatch (9) later so the UAV towers you activate never expire.
  2. Warfighter for fights: Quick Fix (6) shortens health regen after a kill; Possum (9) gives one self-revive into Last Stand per match.
  3. Survivalist for squads: Consumable Duration (3) early, Numb the Pain (9) if you revive teammates a lot.
  4. Minor Traits come three to a row and are rolled at random: take the Minor that sits on the path to the Major you are heading for.

Payoff: Trait Points spent where they pay back on every run, not spread thin.

Why it works: Scout pays back on every run whatever happens in the fights: extra container loot and longer-lived UAV towers turn into cash and printer materials even on a run where you never shoot anyone. The survival Majors only pay off on the runs where things go wrong, so they make the better second tree than the first.

Risk: Picks are permanent and recovery from MIA gets pricier with every point invested. The October 28, 2026 patch nerfed Possum, the Warfighter capstone that lets a fully-killed Operator self-revive: it can no longer trigger while the squad that killed you is still nearby, or until 4 minutes have passed since your death. It's still worth a priority pick since it eventually revives you either way, just no longer the instant fight-swinging tool it was.

Spend all 18 points in two trees, not three

Status: Working · Checked 2026-10-26

An Operator can spend at most 18 Trait Points, which is enough to reach the 9-point capstone tier in two trees but not three. Max Scout first, then put the remaining 9 points into either Warfighter or Survivalist, never splitting across all three.

  1. Choose your two trees before you spend a point outside the first one.
  2. Finish the first tree's capstone before opening the second, unless you need a specific early pick (Container Looter is the usual exception).
  3. Leave the third tree empty. Prestiging resets your points to zero anyway, so a different pair can wait for the next Prestige.

Payoff: Two capstone traits instead of none.

Why it works: The capstones are the traits that change how a run plays: Possum is a second life, Overwatch keeps UAV towers running all match, Die Hard and Numb the Pain change what being downed means. The lower tiers are small percentage bonuses. Three half-finished trees buy several small bonuses and no capstone, and since there is no respec until you Prestige, the mistake sticks.

Risk: The point thresholds are not officially published and the Minor Trait effects are not written up yet, so check each one in game before you spend the point.

Solo build: Scout + Warfighter

Status: Working · Checked 2026-10-29

For players who queue alone. Scout for loot and intel, Warfighter for winning the fight you can't avoid and surviving the one you lose.

  1. Scout: Container Looter (3-point tier), UAV Upgrade (6), Overwatch (9).
  2. Warfighter: Combat Resistance (3), Quick Fix (6), Possum (9).
  3. If you play stealthy rather than aggressive, swap Quick Fix for Viper Sense, which hides you from thermal optics and AI targeting.

Payoff: One free death per match and loot bonuses that pay out on every run.

Why it works: Solo, nobody can pick you up, so Possum's once-per-match self-revive is the only second life you get, which is why every solo guide treats it as the priority pick. Survivalist's best traits (Faster Revive, Numb the Pain) trigger when a teammate revives you, so they do little alone. Quick Fix starts health regen sooner after a kill, which matters when there is no one to cover you while you plate up.

Risk: The October 28, 2026 patch nerfed Possum: it can't trigger while your killers are still nearby, or until 4 minutes after you died. Playing solo, that's a real cost since the squad that killed you is often still camping the body, but it still beats having no second life at all, so the build holds.

Squad build: Scout + Survivalist

Status: Working · Checked 2026-10-24

For trios that revive each other a lot. Scout keeps the loot and intel coming, and Survivalist makes every revive faster and safer.

  1. Scout: Container Looter (3-point tier), UAV Upgrade (6), Overwatch (9).
  2. Survivalist: Faster Revive (3), Impact Smokes (6), Numb the Pain (9).
  3. If your squad rarely goes down, Consumable Duration (3) and Free Revive (6) are the alternatives in the same tiers.

Payoff: Revives that actually work in the middle of a fight.

Why it works: In a squad most deaths start as downs that a teammate can undo, so the traits that speed up and protect revives get used every match. Faster Revive shortens the time the reviver stands exposed, Impact Smokes covers you the moment you drop, and Numb the Pain sends you back up with Painkiller and Smelling Salts effects already active. Without Warfighter you give up Possum, but a teammate is already your second life.

Risk: Falls apart in solo queues, where most of Survivalist does nothing.

Frontline build: Warfighter + Survivalist

Status: Unverified · Checked 2026-10-29

For players who drop in to fight other squads rather than loot. Skips Scout entirely and stacks two layers of staying alive.

  1. Warfighter: Combat Resistance (3-point tier), Quick Fix (6), Possum (9).
  2. Survivalist: Consumable Duration (3), Free Revive (6), Numb the Pain (9).
  3. Solo fighters: take Die Hard instead of Numb the Pain at the 9-point tier.

Payoff: The hardest Operator to put down for good.

Why it works: Combat Resistance cuts explosive damage and softens enemy tacticals, which is what most squad fights open with. Free Revive clears your first Wound without spending medical items, and Possum covers the death you can't avoid, though the October 28, 2026 patch means it won't trigger while the squad that killed you is still nearby or until 4 minutes have passed, so expect it to cover your next death rather than the one you just took. Die Hard is the solo swap because it removes the bleed-out timer and calls exfil automatically when you crawl to one, while Numb the Pain only fires when a teammate revives you.

Risk: You give up Scout's loot bonuses, so this build earns less per run. It pays off only if fighting is why you play.

Scout 6-point tier: UAV Upgrade over Field Crafting, for now

Status: Unverified · Checked 2026-10-26

Field Crafting lets you craft from Common printer resources while deployed in Hajin. Nobody has documented which recipes it unlocks in a raid yet, so the known quantity wins this tier.

  1. Take UAV Upgrade: longer range and duration, and standard scans become Advanced UAV scans.
  2. Pair it with Overwatch at the 9-point tier so the UAV towers you switch on stay on for the whole match.
  3. If you already took Field Crafting, post what its in-raid crafting menu offers in #data-intel on Discord and we'll write it up.

Payoff: A permanent pick you won't regret.

Why it works: Every guide we checked quotes only Field Crafting's one-line description, with no recipe list, costs or screenshots of the in-raid menu. The best guess is that it only covers recipes made purely from bulk resources such as Chemicals, Electronics and Metals, with anything needing Ingredients staying at the FOB printer. UAV Upgrade's effect is spelled out and it feeds Overwatch, so it pays on every run.

Risk: If Field Crafting turns out to unlock armor plates or meds mid-raid, it could overtake UAV Upgrade. We'll update this entry once someone tests it.

Survival (9)

Broke? Run the Free Loadout — you keep it if you extract

Status: Working · Checked 2026-10-28

Every deployment offers a basic Free Loadout for players without funds or printed gear. Extract and those items are yours, so a broke account can rebuild without spending anything.

  1. Pick Free Loadout at deployment.
  2. Play low-threat areas and loot for resources.
  3. Exfil — the loadout items go to your stash.

Payoff: A zero-cost way back into the game after a wipe.

Risk: A known bug tracked by Activision and Infinity Ward can spawn the Free Loadout in with no weapons equipped. If that happens, back out and redeploy rather than running the match unarmed.

Print a Medium Backpack early for its Secure Slots

Status: Working · Checked 2026-10-22

Anything not in a Secure Slot is lost when you fail to exfil, and the Medium Backpack adds Secure Slots. It is printable from the start for common materials.

  1. Collect 50 Synthetics and 5 Rigid Synthetics (reported recipe).
  2. Print the Medium Backpack at the FOB.
  3. Put recipes, manuals and valuables in the Secure Slots first.

Payoff: Your best loot survives a bad fight.

Wanted? Pay off your own bounty

Status: Working · Checked 2026-10-22

Four Operator kills across deployments make you Wanted, and nearby players are alerted when you get close. You can clear it with DMZ Cash at the Bounty Station instead of carrying a target into every raid.

  1. Check the bounty on your Operator at the FOB.
  2. If it is more trouble than it is worth, pay it off at the Bounty Station.

Payoff: No more hunters tracking your squad.

Take down Colossus solo from above

Status: Unverified · Checked 2026-10-30

The whole trick is height. Colossus can take stairs, but he cannot climb ladders or pipes. Get onto a roof, shack or platform he can only reach the long way, and peek so that only his head shows. From there his minigun rarely lands, and you can chip him down with gunfire, Thermite and Shock Sticks.

  1. Bring any high-capacity rifle or LMG (weapon choice matters little), one or two Shock Sticks per Colossus, and Thermite. An ammo box and Stims keep the fight going.
  2. Clear the AI first. He walks with a group of heavy soldiers, and they are the biggest danger in the fight.
  3. Climb onto something reachable only by ladder or pipe: a shack roof, a rooftop or a station platform. Where there is no such spot, make him chase you to high ground; he is fast and stays locked on, and a gas trail shows where he is.
  4. Peek so only his head is visible and aim for headshots. Once his helmet comes off he goes down fast.
  5. Work a loop: throw a Shock Stick to stun him, fire, and throw a Thermite every time you reload. If he loses sight of you, wait, because he will move to find an angle.
  6. Never drop down to his level. Jumping down to dodge a passing tank can get you killed.

Payoff: A $50,000 first-kill Board reward plus a chance at Military Composites or Experimental Compounds, without needing a full squad. Drops are not guaranteed: three kills can still come up with no gold item.

Risk: About six or seven Thermites can kill him with no gunfire, but that costs a lot of crafting chemicals. Drill Charges were stronger until the October 25 patch cut their damage on him. Grenades, launchers and rockets barely touch him. His canister releases gas when he dies, so step back before you loot.

Get the Chang-san Air Base tank running

Status: Unverified · Checked 2026-10-30

A damaged tank sits in the Tank Depot behind the armory in the Chang-san Air Base bunker. Install four parts and it is yours for the match. The full walkthrough, with where each part spawns, the armory code and getting the tank out, is the Chang-san tank route at the top of this page.

  1. Collect the four parts over one or more runs: Tank Plugs, Tank Battery, Tank Water Pump and Tank Alternator.
  2. Earn an Air Base Armory Card on Operation Iron Citadel and find the three armory code notes in the bunker.
  3. Open the armory, beat the Colossus behind the door and install the parts at the back of the tank.
  4. Open the bunker doors and drive out. Refuel and repair at gas stations.

Payoff: A two-seat tank for the rest of the match.

Risk: The bunker is rated Extreme and a Colossus guards the tank. Gas cans do not refuel it; only gas stations do.

A Sedative Inhaler hides you from UAV Towers for 60 seconds

Status: Unverified · Checked 2026-11-02

The uncommon Sedative Inhaler consumable, found around Hajin or printed from DMZ Level 3, blocks radar, enemy marking and thermal optics from showing you for 60 seconds. It is the counter to a UAV Tower lighting up your position, including one an enemy squad is holding with the Overwatch Trait so it never expires.

  1. Carry a Sedative Inhaler (loot it or print it once DMZ Level 3 is unlocked).
  2. Use it before crossing ground covered by an active UAV Tower, especially one you don't control.
  3. Re-apply after 60 seconds if you are still in a covered area.

Payoff: Cross UAV-covered ground, including Wanted, without showing up on enemy mini-maps.

Risk: A same-week test by creator SiNisterFPS reported that the UAV Upgrade + Overwatch combination can still ping your position and even your floor while you're running Thermal Padding Pro and a Sedative Inhaler together — the tower holder just sees a basic (non-Advanced) marker instead of your exact dot, which is less precise but not full invisibility. A second creator, OneAverageDan, independently reports the same split: Thermal Padding only strips the Advanced-UAV directional arrow, leaving you visible as a plain marker, while the Sedative Inhaler is still the only item reported to block a UAV outright for its 60 seconds. Treat Thermal Padding as a partial counter and the Inhaler as the stronger one until this gets wider testing.

No rooftop handy? Kite Colossus around ground-level cover instead

Status: Unverified · Checked 2026-11-01

An alternative to the rooftop approach above: one creator reports taking Colossus down solo in under 30 seconds without climbing anywhere, by running him in a circle around a chest-high obstacle (a low wall, crates, a control panel) he can't shoot over.

  1. Take UAV Upgrade and Thermal Padding (or Viper Sense) so you can still see Colossus and other players even under an enemy's Advanced UAV.
  2. Clear nearby AI first with a silenced weapon so a firefight doesn't call in reinforcements.
  3. Find any obstacle roughly chest height — a low wall, a stack of crates, a control panel — and lure Colossus to it.
  4. Circle the obstacle so he can't get an angle on you, popping out to land shots; a Shock Stick stuns his fire for a moment and a Drill Charge every reload speeds up the 6-to-8 hits it takes.

Payoff: A Colossus kill, and its legendary crafting material chance, without needing a rooftop or ladder nearby.

Risk: Single-creator report; works best with a silenced weapon so you don't draw a crowd while you circle.

An uncompleted Story Mission can mean a quieter lobby — for now

Status: Unverified · Checked 2026-11-01

Reported: queuing into a Story Mission you haven't finished yet reportedly puts you in a lobby matched only against other players doing story missions, which can mean far fewer human squads than Free Roam or Dynamic Operations. Multiple creators and a press report describe Infinity Ward quietly adjusting this matchmaking behavior around the October 30, 2026 patch, so treat it as changeable rather than a fixed rule.

  1. Pick a Story Mission you haven't completed when you want a calmer loot run.
  2. You can ignore the mission itself and just loot the map if that's your goal.
  3. Expect this to shift with future patches — recheck before relying on it for an important run.

Payoff: A calmer loot run with less PvP risk, while it lasts.

Risk: Undocumented, unofficial behavior that Infinity Ward hasn't confirmed or explained; it can change without notice.

Repair a broken-down Radar Truck for a free, drivable UAV

Status: Unverified · Checked 2026-11-02

Reported: a disabled Radar Truck sits at most gas stations, usually missing some of its four parts. Repairing it gives your squad a mobile UAV pulse without spending a Trait Point or a printer recipe.

  1. Find a Radar Truck parked at a gas station — it's usually missing two of its four parts.
  2. Collect the missing parts (Spark Plugs, Alternator, Car Battery, Water Pump), which also turn up loose at gas stations and can be carried between deployments.
  3. Open the truck's hood to auto-install whatever parts you're carrying.
  4. Drive the repaired truck and park it near wherever you're looting for a standing UAV pulse.

Payoff: Squad-wide UAV coverage for free, repeatable every raid if you keep spare parts in your stash.

Risk: Single-creator report; exact part spawn rates aren't independently confirmed.

Stack everyone's Orders onto one Story Mission run

Status: Working · Checked 2026-10-22

Story Missions send the whole squad to one landmark. Before you deploy, check every teammate's current Orders and pick the mission whose route passes their objectives — the official guide calls this out directly.

  1. Each player opens their current Orders page at the FOB.
  2. Pick the Story Mission whose location sits near the most open objectives.
  3. Detour for the Orders on the way in, run the mission, exfil together.

Payoff: Several Orders progress on a run you were doing anyway.

Raise the truce flag and merge into a four-player squad

Status: Unverified · Checked 2026-10-22

Squads deploy as three, but two squads that meet in Hajin can agree to merge into a single four-player squad for the rest of the deployment. A truce flag on the menu wheel signals you are not hostile.

  1. Spot another squad before they spot you.
  2. Raise the truce flag from the menu wheel and use proximity chat.
  3. Agree to merge — the four of you finish the run together.

Payoff: An extra gun for boss fights and Lieutenant hunts.

Risk: The other squad can still betray you; keep your valuables secured.

Known bugs (1)

Gear Up order won't complete — now fixed

Status: Patched · Checked 2026-10-22

Players who sold their starter backpack, armor vest or medkit could not finish the first Order, which also delayed the Boss Board (it unlocks after your second Order). The October 20, 2026 DMZ Early Access patch fixed the underlying soft lock, so the old workaround (deploy with a friend) is no longer needed.

  1. No workaround needed — update to the current build and complete Gear Up normally.

Payoff: Unblocks the first Order and the Boss Board.

Compound safe loop

Checked 2026-10-27

Five compounds and one police station by car, cracking every compound safe on the way. A full run can bring out three weapon manuals, a recipe and about $99,900 in total value.

  1. Compound Delta — Pick Operation Fallen Ember only for its spawn next to this compound, and skip the mission. Clear the guards, then open the safe in the large canvas tent in the middle, next to the cots. Take the car.
  2. Compound Echo — Search the containers in the underground parking under the River Heights apartments. Climb the ledge by the parking spot for a weapon crate and armor plates.
  3. Wolves Stadium police station — Drive west under the overpass. Search the offices: the medicine cabinet can hold a Drill Charge recipe.
  4. Compound Bravo — Off-road south-west through the trees. Clear it, then check the safe in the tower office, the rifle case and the military bag. A car spawns here.
  5. Compound Alpha — North-west through the woods. Clear the guards and open the safe: it can hold a weapon manual and Nuclear Program Files.
  6. Compound Charlie — Optional. Skip it if its side op is already done and the compound is empty.
  7. Exfil at Cheongun Outskirts — A good exfil for this loop. Pop the green smoke and stay in cover until the helicopter lands.

Payoff: About $99,900: three weapon manuals ($15,000), a Drill Charge recipe ($5,000), three side ops ($1,500) and the rest in backpack value.

Risk: Each compound has about 10 to 12 guards and guards push the exfil. Other players may have looted a safe before you.

Two open compounds (low gear)

Checked 2026-10-27

The cheapest run worth doing: the two compounds near Daesong Ridge need no key and hold fewer guards than the rest. Clear each one, take the safe, and leave.

  1. Compound Alpha — Clear the guards until the compound meter reads 100%. The safe is usually at the top of the guard tower, otherwise in the largest building.
  2. Compound Bravo — Same again. The safe is in the tower office; also check the rifle case and the military bag. A car spawns here for the ride to the exfil.

Any open exfil. Neither guide names one for this pair.

Payoff: Each safe can hold valuables or a weapon manual ($5,000 when extracted), sometimes both.

Risk: About 10 to 12 guards per compound. A safe already opened by another squad is empty.

Casino vault run

Checked 2026-10-27

Open the Counting Room vault in the Heavenly Luck Casino with the key from Operation Silent Ledger, then hit the police armory a few streets west. Expect about $44,700 in backpack value.

  1. Heavenly Luck Casino: Counting Room — Enter by the south lobby, turn right into the east wing, through the double doors and down the corridor to the door marked Counting Room. The key opens both doors and is used up.
  2. Cheongun Village police station — Optional bonus. Find the Police Station Armory key (try the upstairs filing cabinets), then open the caged armory on the ground floor.

Take a truck out of town along the rail line to a North Korean Wilderness exfil. Exfils change each match, so it is not marked.

Payoff: $44,700 in backpack value: weapons, a Medium Backpack and Regional Combat Notes from the vault, a sniper rifle and plates from the armory.

Risk: The casino is a High threat stronghold. Silent Ledger does not reliably give a second key, so a repeat run needs a Door Breacher Charge.

Cheongun Village: bank vault, gun store and the array

Checked 2026-10-30

A Cheongun Village start. Deploy on Operation Silent Ledger for the spawn beside the village and skip the mission. Loot the gun store and the fire station, open the Hanex bank branch vault (car battery, keycard and a code), then drive south to Cheonwang Peak Array and a compound. A full run comes out at about $96,000.

Opening the vault and locked rooms:

  1. Bank vault, step 1: find the Bank Branch Vault Access card somewhere inside the branch. It is a rare key and its spot changes each match.
  2. Step 2: find a Car Battery in or around the bank (it can be downstairs) and put it in the sparking panel. The reader shows READER LACKS POWER until it has one.
  3. Step 3: find the paper note that gives the first three digits of the four-digit code. It can be on any floor, including the roof.
  4. Step 4: enter the three digits and try the last digit until the vault opens. The code changes every match (for example a note reading 257 opened at 2574). The last digit is usually not one of the first three, so try those last.
  5. Gun store basement: each Gun Store Weapons Locker key opens one of the green lockers, not all of them. Loose weapon lockers in the shop need no key.
  6. Fire station: the Fire Station Storage room is on the upstairs landing and needs its own key.
  7. Also in the village, only if you carry the key: the Mechanic's Shack just south of the clinic, Rail Depot Storage in the train depot basement, and the police station armory (its key spawns inside the station). The casino rooms are in the Casino vault run.
  1. Cheongun Village gun store (west side) — First stop. Take the stairs down to the basement and loot the weapon lockers; the locked green ones need a Gun Store Weapons Locker key each.
  2. Cheongun Village fire station — Worth a stop before the bank: there are keys and an Epic gas mask worth selling to find here. The storage room upstairs needs the Fire Station Storage key.
  3. Hanex bank branch, Cheongun Village — Open the vault: card, car battery, code note, then guess the last digit (steps above). Inside are safes, cash and filing cabinets. The bank is in the village centre.
  4. Cheonwang Peak Array — Drive south. Take the UAV tower next to it if you want to, then get in through the gap in the wall. Corner building: cabinet and a safe on the ground floor. Next building: second safe on the 2nd floor. Main building: skip the ground floor, servers on the 2nd (Communication Modules turn up here), desks on the 3rd, safe in the innermost room on the 4th. What makes the array hard: the Colossus or a Lieutenant can spawn here. Dodge the Colossus while you open the safes, or fight it: it is easy once its escort is down. Unlike a compound there is no cleared meter, so you only find out on arrival whether another squad got here first, which is likely if you arrive late. The safes are spread over three buildings and four floors; a shortcut is to climb the barbed wire (it hurts) into a side window and hop across the rooftops. A player holding the UAV tower can see you, so a Sedative Inhaler is worth carrying.
  5. Compound Alpha — Take a helicopter from the array roof to the nearest compound, Compound Alpha. Clear it, open the safe on the ground floor and search the two arched huts, then carry on to a second compound if your plates hold.

Pick any open exfil away from the high threat areas.

Payoff: About $96,000 on a full run, most of it from the array and the compounds. The Cheongun bank vault can hold Infantry Invasion Plans, a Medium Scavenger Backpack recipe, Nuclear Program Files and Ballistic Flight Logs, and the array's safes can give a Gold Bar.

Risk: Cheongun Village is a High threat region and the Colossus can show up there and at the array. Each wrong code guess costs time while AI patrol the bank. Another squad may have opened the vault or the safes first.

Hospital to the mall (low threat start)

Checked 2026-10-27

Start at the Low threat hospital, move east to NuriGO East's shops, clear a police station and restock at an ammo cache. It stays out of The Grid, the Extreme threat block just to the south.

  1. Mirae General Hospital — Loot the patient wards, emergency rooms, medical storage and the triage tents outside.
  2. NuriGO East — Work through the shops for commercial loot and crafting materials.
  3. Hajin City police station — Clear a police station next; this is the nearest one to NuriGO East. The armory needs its key.
  4. Ammo & Armor Cache — Restock plates and ammo before you head out (the nearest cache, our pick).

Any open exfil away from The Grid. Do a nearby Dynamic Operation first if you still have supplies.

Payoff: Medical supplies, crafting materials and commercial loot; police stations add military gear and a locked armory.

Risk: NuriGO is a High threat region and The Grid sits right next to it. Do not wander south.

Cheonwang Peak Array Gold Bar run

Checked 2026-10-27

A short run: search the three buildings inside the walled Cheonwang Peak Array, where the L-shaped building's safe can give a Gold Bar, then finish at Compound Alpha just to the south-west.

  1. Cheonwang Peak Array — Start here: the walled compound on the hill. Three buildings to search: the corner building by the entrance (ground-floor safe and a Basic Weapons Locker); the tall central building (go up to the 4th floor, cross the server room to the safe; server racks on the 2nd); and the L-shaped building, whose 2nd-floor safe is reached by the back stairs and can hold a Gold Bar. The circle marks the compound; search all three buildings inside it.
  2. Compound Alpha — Our pick: the nearest compound, south-west of the array. Clear the guards, then open the safe, usually at the top of the guard tower.

Any open exfil. Neither guide names one.

Payoff: The array's L-shaped building has given a Gold Bar ($25,000 sold at the FOB, or keep it for stash upgrades). Its other safes have given Nuclear Program Files ($2,000) and a CPU ($1,000), plus a Basic Weapons Locker.

Risk: No safe is guaranteed: the Gold Bar is a possible drop, not a fixed spawn, and another squad may have opened the safes first.

Gangbyeon Apartments and the stadium armory

Checked 2026-10-28

Both keys this run needs spawn on the way, so you bring none: two apartment blocks at Compound Echo with a safe in each, then the police armory a block west by Wolves Stadium. Deploy on Operation Shopping Hacks.

  1. Compound Echo: Gangbyeon Apartments — Enter Apartment A from the underground parking (a safe sits in the corner) and search its shelves for the Apartment B key. Go up to the roof, cross to Apartment B by the ladder and open the roof door: a roof safe, then a Weapons Locker with two guns inside.
  2. Wolves Stadium police station — Find the Police Station Armory key in the offices (check the desks), then open the locked armory on the lower floor.

Any open exfil.

Payoff: The roof safe in Apartment B is there every time, and its Weapons Locker has given a Medium Secure Backpack recipe ($5,000). The armory locker held a rifle, a pistol and Degraded Execution Footage ($2,000).

Risk: Keys spawn in different spots each match: the Apartment B key can be anywhere in Apartment A, and not every police station has its armory key.

Nuclear reactor: process an Irradiated Container

Checked 2026-10-28

Pick up an Irradiated Container from a Chemical Storage container, carry it into Reactor 02 at the Haneul Nuclear Reactor and run it through the machine. The processed container nearly always holds a Weapon Manual, a legendary weapon and an epic crafting material. Deploy on Operation Fallen Ember. Two independent creators also report yellow Irradiated Container lockers at Fire Stations (basement green key opens a top-floor room with two lockers) and in Air Base Clinic's ground-floor surgery room, so either is worth a detour on the way to the reactor.

  1. Chemical Storage at Cheongun Outskirts — Get an Irradiated Container from a Chemical Storage container here. Any Chemical Storage container can hold one, so check them all.
  2. Haneul Nuclear Reactor — Mask on before the red zone. Grab the hazmat suit on the wall opposite the computer in Reactor 01. In Reactor 02, activate the panel, turn around and put the container in the machine; it comes back searchable after 5 to 10 seconds. With the DRC key, drop into the water under the reactor and swim to the locker in the irradiated pool.

Any open exfil outside the radiation zone.

Payoff: Per container: a Weapon Manual ($5,000), a legendary weapon and an epic material. With the Ultra Reactor DRC Locker key, the Elite Weapons Locker in the pool under the reactor adds a MAR-9 Weapon Manual and a Large Secure Backpack.

Risk: High threat region and a red radiation zone: your gas mask or suit runs out. The DRC Locker key is Ultra rarity; in a squad, rerun the mission so everyone earns one.

Chang-san Air Base: the Supreme Leader's Bunker

Checked 2026-10-29

For card holders only: three rooms under Admin Complex No. 2 with two Weapons Lockers and an LT Crate. Deploy on Operation Iron Citadel. Without the card, warm up in the three low buildings past the wall gap to the right of the spawn: about five minutes for recipes and backpacks.

Getting the card:

  1. The card is not crafted or found: you earn it by finishing the Operation Iron Citadel Story Mission. The mission appears on the FOB Mission Board once Operation Critical Extraction, Operation Silent Ledger and Operation Shopping Hacks are done (not confirmed yet).
  2. Deploy on Iron Citadel and search the buildings the mission points you to for the Air Base Access Card (Multi Use). Its spot changes each match: check office desks, the tiled washroom and the small safe on a cabinet in the big warehouse.
  3. Take it upstairs to the server room in Admin Complex No. 2 and use the card reader. Hold the room while the upgrade bar fills and enemies push in, then pick up the Air Base Armory Card (Single Use). Do not leave before you have it.
  4. That upgraded card opens the bunker armory, not the Supreme Leader's Bunker. Carry on with the mission: three code notes for the armory keypad (the code changes every match), the armory manifest, explosives on the munitions crates and three strike aircraft, then the SAM site.
  5. Exfil with the armory manifest: the Supreme Leader's Bunker Access Card is the mission reward. It is single use. Iron Citadel may be replayable for another card; not confirmed.
  1. Admin Complex No. 2 — Front entrance, then the door with the staircase icon in a back corner of the ground floor. Down the corridor to the double doors; the card opens the bunker. Main room, bedroom, then the weapon room with the LT Crate.

Back out the way you came in, then any open exfil away from the base.

Payoff: An epic weapon in the main room's locker, a Combat Drone recipe in the bedroom footlocker, a second locker with two guns (one an epic Oden) and an LT Crate that held a legendary Dreadnought LMG ($8,000).

Risk: Activision rates the air base bunker Extreme, and a Colossus Commander can show up on the way in. Leave the way you came.

Chang-san Air Base: repair and drive the tank

Checked 2026-10-30

A broken tank sits in the Tank Depot behind the armory in the Chang-san Air Base bunker. Bring it four parts and it is yours for the rest of the match: two seats, a cannon that one-shots most vehicles, and armor that AI bullets barely scratch. The parts spawn loose around the base, so collect them over a few runs, then come back with all four and an Air Base Armory Card.

Where the tank parts are:

  1. The four parts are Tank Plugs, Tank Battery, Tank Water Pump and Tank Alternator. They are loose loot on shelves, boxes, barrels and in corners, never inside a container, and their spots change each match.
  2. Tank Plugs: the mechanic shacks on the west side of the base, under the jets in the underground hangar, or on a low shelf in a building in the middle of the base.
  3. Tank Battery: the hangar side of the bunker, the part of the tunnels with the aircraft in it. Check barrels and boxes next to the planes.
  4. Tank Water Pump: the northern buildings. Look on the boxes just right of the main gate, at the fuel storage beside the hangar entrances and around the big fuel tank left of the hangar entrance. It is a Legendary item.
  5. Tank Alternator: inside the armory, so it needs the card and the code below. Look in the raised compartment in the tank room, under the half-built tank, and in the bunkers in the north of the base.
  6. Put each part in a Secure Slot and exfil with it. You do not need all four in one match: bring the ones you have on the run where you take the tank.

Getting the card:

  1. The armory needs the Air Base Armory Card (Single Use). Deploy on Operation Iron Citadel and search the buildings it marks for the Air Base Access Card (Multi Use); it can also turn up as loose loot.
  2. Take it upstairs to the server room in Admin Complex No. 2 and hack the reader to upgrade it into the Armory Card. The steps are the same as in the Supreme Leader's Bunker route.
  3. You can carry the Armory Card out and use it later in Free Roam, where there are more players to hunt with the tank, or install the parts during Iron Citadel. The card is single use, so every tank run needs a new one.

Opening the vault and locked rooms:

  1. Armory code: six digits from three notes in the bunker, two digits each, and it changes every match. Enter the pairs in the order the notes give, then swipe the Armory Card.
  2. Where the notes are: from the main bunker doors go left through the server room, left again, and right through the wooden doorway into the control room (the note is on the table, by the Recovery Room front desk). The second is in the meeting room with the big flag, past the cafeteria in the yellow section (the Dining Room in the Administrative Wing). The third is in a small office in the green section, on the bottom floor of the Security Wing, through the back right door from the armory.
  3. A Colossus waits right behind the armory door. Run it back and forth around the control panel inside the vault door, which it cannot shoot over, and aim at the head and shoulders. Or go prone on the left side of the doorway and shoot its shoulder.
  4. The Tank Depot: turn right on the armory's ground floor; it is at the back right of the room past the black lockers. Clear the AI in the room first.
  1. West side mechanic shacks — Tank Plugs: shelves and corners in the mechanic buildings on the west of the base. Check each building.
  2. Northern buildings and the main gate — Tank Water Pump: boxes by the main gate, the fuel storage by the hangar entrances, rooftops and shelves in the north of the base.
  3. Admin Complex No. 2 (bunker below) — Server room upstairs for the card upgrade, then down into the bunker: Tank Battery on the hangar side with the aircraft (Tank Plugs can be under the jets too), the three code notes, the armory and the Colossus, then the Tank Depot with the Tank Alternator and the tank.
  4. Gas Station — The nearest gas station on the Tac-Map, south-east of the base. Park at it to refuel and repair the tank.

Repairing and driving the tank:

  1. Interact with the back of the tank and put the four parts in. The tank then shows Vehicle Repaired.
  2. It seats two: a driver and a gunner.
  3. Getting it out of the bunker: one player opens the small door at the front of the tank room and presses the red button inside, which lets the tank into the main bunker tunnels. Then someone runs up to the round watchtower on the air base, rides the lift nearly to the top, clears the guards in the control room above and presses the button there to open the bunker doors.
  4. Fuel runs down fast, and gas cans do not refuel it. Park at a gas station to refuel, which also repairs it, so plan the drive from one gas station to the next.
  5. The cannon one-shots most vehicles and the Deathstalker but not another tank, and it cannot aim high. AI fire barely hurts it, splash damage alone can down a player, vehicle kills give only about 50 XP, and it cannot break an exfil helicopter.
  6. The tank is yours for this match only: it does not come out with you.

The tank cannot leave with you. Drive it until you are done, then exfil as usual.

Payoff: A two-seat tank for the rest of the match. It shreds AI and most vehicles, which makes it a PvP tool more than a money run.

Risk: The bunker is rated Extreme and a Colossus guards the tank. Stay away from the Colossus and Commander tanks once you are driving: they take the tank down fast. Players with an RPG or JOKR are the main threat, so keep moving.

West side: every silo, bunker and black market

Checked 2026-10-27

No published guide links these, so this one is ours: all six silo bunkers, both black markets and the Compound Foxtrot safe on the west side of Hajin, starting at the Deadtown black market and ending in Hanrim Village. How we play it: deploy solo on Operation Iron Citadel, ignore the mission and just run the loot. The silos and the compound safe need no key; the black market lockers do.

  1. Deadtown black market — Start here. The building directly north of the Lieutenant Hunt Tower: back door in, hidden way down behind the big shelf, lockers past the armored door.
  2. Silo bunker (A7)
  3. Silo bunker (A6)
  4. Silo bunker (A5) — In the North Korean Wilderness, south-west of Compound Foxtrot: head there next.
  5. Compound Foxtrot — Clear the guards, then find the compound safe: usually at the top of the guard tower, otherwise in the largest building. Chang-san Air Base is just to the south: stay out unless your squad wants its bunker too.
  6. Silo bunker (C3) — The 14th Political Prison is just to the north-west: coming from Compound Foxtrot, swing south of it.
  7. Silo bunker (D2) — Same silo layout: back door, corridor button, hatch.
  8. Hanrim Village black market — The pinned building on the east side of the village: behind the counter, through the green double doors to the stockroom and the lockers.
  9. Silo bunker (B2) — Last stop. Open the back door of the large room and press the button at the end of the corridor to open the hatch.

Any open exfil near Hanrim Village. Exfils change each match.

Payoff: Silo bunkers, black market shops and the Compound Foxtrot safe are lootable without keys; the keyed black market lockers are the big prize. No guide has published a cash total for this loop.

Risk: It passes the 14th Political Prison (Critical), and Compound Foxtrot has about 10 to 12 guards. Chang-san Air Base (Extreme) is right below Foxtrot: do not wander in unless you mean to.
